We are always looking for new parents to help the PTA raise funds and would like to encourage you to come along to our next meeting and see what we are all about. We are a friendly group and welcome everyone and appreciate any assistance that can be offered.

Here's what some of our parents have to say:

"I feel we are very fortunate that our school has such a great PTA, who although are still in their early days as a whole, are working very hard to provide closer links between home and school.  It’s not only about fundraising, but also a way of trying to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school.  I have found them to be a very friendly, welcoming group, who are more than happy to hear of new suggestions, ideas and welcome offers of help with open arms! It really is a case of ‘many hands make light work’.  Each event run, requires such a significant amount of planning and organising, which is done by parents/grandparents/teachers all of whom lead busy lives, but who give up their free time to carry out.  I feel the Summer and Christmas Fayres improve each year, the children love the school discos and I know that the PTA would definitely put on more events, in order to raise more money for improvements and to help keep our children’s lovely school a happy and effective place to learn.  So for anyone who can spare some of their time, no matter how small, they would love to have you on board!"

"I have been lucky enough to volunteer a few times in a small ways but have come to realise how fun it can be to be a part of such a great team. The work that they do definitely enhances the educational experience that our children receive and I know that the children themselves absolutely love their efforts and are really excited by the arrangements they make. Seeing the smiles on their faces at Easter time was priceless. We are all incredibly fortunate that they give up their time in such wonderful ways!"

"As a new parent to the school, I was interested to find out more about fundraising. I was a little nervous to attend my first PTA meeting, but there was no need. It was welcoming and friendly, allowing me to participate as much or as little as I felt I wanted. Just a room with a handful of people, all wanting to help bring more to the education and wellbeing of their children. I've since become class rep to help get fund-raising information out to my Daughters class and helped at events. This has always been worked out so that parents get that all important time at the events with their own children while still giving time to help out or support a stall. I've seen the PTA help the school in many ways and this isn't possible without the committee and parent/teacher help and support."

"It has great to have such an active and positive PTA at school. I hope they continue to grow from strength to strength developing the school community. The Fair is fantastic and just one of the events they hold. They constantly look for opportunities to help support the school and our class reps are great at engaging our parents and carers in getting involved. Looking forward to the year ahead and some more fun and interesting events to continue to support the school in fundraising. At the same time give the parents and carers to chance to meet up, be involved outside the classroom and have some great times."
