What we are doing at Madginford?

• Reviewing our curriculum to make sure the children all have the same opportunities through close focus on policy development and planning review.

• Developing the use of our school values to reflect what we want and agree to in all aspects of school life; in partnership with the children and with a focus on rights and responsibilities.

• To train staff in actively supporting children to understand each other and to take part in creating a whole school ethos that genuinely values difference with a long-term commitment to achieving the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award.

• To ensure children are central to school decision-making and that their needs and wants are represented at all levels.
