Our Governors
Our Governors
The Governing Board provides the strategic leadership of Madginford Primary School. Working in partnership with the Headteacher, governors set the school's long-term vision, values and strategic priorities, ensuring that every decision is made in the best interests of our pupils.
Governors are responsible for holding school leaders to account for the quality of education, pupils' achievement and wellbeing, safeguarding, financial management and the delivery of the school's strategic objectives. They monitor the impact of the School Improvement Plan, oversee the effective use of resources and ensure that the school fulfils its statutory responsibilities.
While governors do not manage the day-to-day running of the school, they provide both support and constructive challenge to school leaders. Through regular meetings, school visits and engagement with pupils, staff and parents, they evaluate the school's performance and help shape its future direction.
Our Governing Board is made up of dedicated volunteers from a wide range of professional backgrounds. Their collective skills, experience and commitment help ensure that Madginford Primary School continues to provide a first-class education where every child is encouraged to flourish.
The Governing Board is fully committed to our vision of 'Where Magical Experiences Create Endless Opportunities'and works closely with school leaders to ensure that our values-led curriculum, high aspirations and inclusive ethos remain at the heart of everything we do.
We are always interested in hearing from people who would like to contribute to the life of our school by becoming a governor. It is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills and experience to help shape the future of education for our children and community.
