What is G-Suite?
G-Suite for Education is a set of Google apps which are free, ad-free and secure. These tools are already used by millions of pupils in schools around the world. There is no cost to use this service but the best things are that these tools are relevant to pupils, easy to use and open doors to many new ways to learn. Gmail will not be enabled for children at this time.
Please note our EYFS children use Tapestry instead of Google Classroom.
If you are using a mobile device, you may need to download the free Classroom App in order to access the content.
We appreciate that whilst most children are in school, there may be occasions when your child has to remain at home. Home learning will be available for these children via Google Classroom. Wherever possible, the work set will reflect the learning taking place in class. Teachers will set approximately 5 or 6 pieces of work per day which will include Maths and English. They will mark and give regular feedback on the Maths and English, responding to other learning as soon as they are able to. Please contact your child's class teacher via Class Dojo so that they know to set work for your child.
If a bubble has to be closed, home learning will be made available via Google Classroom. It is important to note that members of staff other than your child's class teacher may respond on Google Classroom.
